3IA Côte d'Azur Label

Announced at the opening of the SophI.A Summit 2019 in Sophia Antipolis, the "3IA Côte d'Azur label" aims to highlight events, training courses or projects in the broadest sense that contribute to the dynamics of the 3IA Côte d'Azur.

Five events and five training programs are the first to benefit from this label.

Five events to animate the AI ecosystem of the French Riviera

  • SophI.A Summit: international scientific conference dedicated to recent advances in artificial intelligence and its applications organized annually by Université Côte d'Azur and the Sophia Antipolis Agglomeration Community involving numerous partners including major companies and clusters in the field. 
  • ClusterIA meet-ups: organized every last Thursday of the month at the Village by CA Provence Côte d'Azur in Sophia Antipolis. The format lasts 1h30 to 2 hours followed by a moment of exchange and brings together a large group, a startup, a researcher or a 3IA chair. 
  • ICAIR working sessions: take place twice a quarter and bring together researchers from the laboratories of the 12 member companies of the industrial research council in artificial intelligence. 
  • Smart Vehicle Côte d’Azur "Get Together": recurring professional gatherings, organized three to four times a year, between actors working within the wider automotive sector. Academics, large groups, institutions and start-ups meet to discuss news, events and short presentations on the Smart Vehicle theme.
  • Data & IA community of Telecom Valley REX Lunches: are organized to develop a common Data & AI culture, based on interdisciplinarity, to reflect on the ethics of AI Sharing feedback and to share knowledge and mutual aid in a caring manner.

Five training and summer schools on AI

  • The "Data Science & Artificial Intelligence" Master: a 2-year MSc at the Université Côte d’Azur. 
  • The "Engineers for Smart Cities" Carried by IMREDD: a one-year MSc open to students in initial and continuing education as well as to executives.
  • The Deep Learning School: a one-week summer school organized in July every year since 2017 by Université Côte d'Azur. 
  • The AI4Health Summer School: organized by the Health Data Hub, the Interdisciplinary Institutes for Artificial Intelligence (3IA), MIAI (Grenoble), 3IA Côte d’Azur (Nice-Sophia Antipolis) and Prairie (Paris) and the French Association for Medical Informatics with internationally renowned speakers in AI for Health. Its first edition in 2020 will be held in the heart of Paris, France between 7th-11th September 2020.
  • The “Introduction to machine learning”: minor of the Master’s programs of DS4H Graduate School at Université Côte d’Azur.
