Vanna Lisa Coli, Junior Fellow in AI, joined Université Côte d'Azur in September.
We asked Vanna Lisa to introduce herself:
I am Vanna Lisa Coli and I look forward to give my contribution to AI education with the EFELIA Côte d'Azur team! I graduated in Applied Mathematics at the University of Bologna and I
had my Ph. D. in Mathematics at the University of Ferrara, where I worked on the development of optimization methods for signal reconstruction applied to biomedical imaging problems. After my Ph.D. I joined the CEPAM lab for a Post-doc at the Université Côte d'Azur and I became involved in Archaeology, working on the modeling of Neolithic ceramic mounting techniques. During my second Post-doc in the same lab I worked on the "Arch-AI-Story" collaborative project, where I led different research activities involving Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, History and Archaeology.
I'm eager to share my knowledge and experience with the largest possible audience as a Junior Fellow in AI at EFELIA Côte d'Azur!
