As part of the five-year grant, several people are being recruited, alongside the management team and the training team of 3IA Côte d'Azur, for the development of training activities.

The team will be composed of eight Junior Fellows in AI with a teaching and research mission, pedagogical engineers, and computer engineers. A project manager, Violette Assati, joined Université Côte d'Azur in February to help make the EFELIA Côte d'Azur project's ambitions operational. See the full team here.

We asked Violette to introduce herself in a few words:
“I am Violette, EFELIA Côte d'Azur Project Manager, I took up my job on February 1, 2023.
After a Master's degree in International Business Development and a degree in German and French law at Paris Assas, I started my professional life at the University of Westminster, as Corporate Social Responsibility Officer. I carried out training, awareness and reporting missions for the CSR department.
Passionate about chocolate and its production, I joined AgroParisTech to train in the management of agri-food companies, then I took my first steps in the agri-food industry, starting of course with the chocolate industry. Called back by my sources, I returned home to Reunion Island to continue working in the food industry.
Just before joining the University of the Côte d'Azur, I worked for 5 years at the Syndicat du Sucre de la Réunion, where I held the position of External Affairs Manager. As part of my previous duties, I worked regularly with researchers from the Cane and Sugar Research Center (eRcane) and on several occasions I ensured their representation and the defense of their interests in front of public actors.
I wanted to join the EFELIA Côte d'Azur Project led by the Côte d'Azur University because I am strongly attached to education and innovation. It is an innovative project with a dynamic team. I learn every day and I like it.”

Welcome all!
