The ceremony took place at the Grand Château Theatre, on the Valrose Campus.
On December 12th, the university community gathered to attend the ceremony honoring Université Côte d'Azur staff members newly nominated to the Order of Academic Palms.
It was Jeanick Brisswalter, President of the University, who presented the insignia to the recipients, among whom was Diana Sebbar, Director of 3IA Côte d'Azur.
The Ordre des Palmes Académiques is France's third highest national order, following the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit. Promotions and appointments to this Order are made by decree of the Prime Minister, upon recommendation of the Minister of National Education, and published in the official gazette of decorations.
