MIA | Maison de l'Intelligence Artificielle

MIA is the first public space in France and Europe entirely dedicated to AI and its applications to enable everyone to take advantage of a technology that reshapes the contours of the future.

EuropIA Institute

The EuropIA Institute is a non-profit organization whose objective is to raise awareness and train the general public and entrepreneurs on the issues of Artificial Intelligence with an ethical approach. Its goal is to bring together the actors of AI and new technologies, while placing Humans at the heart of their thinking in order to foster innovation and the development of an ethical AI that is accessible to all.

CASA | Communauté d'Agglomération Sophia Antipolis

The CASA is a French agglomeration community located in the Grasse district, the Alpes-Maritimes department and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It brings together 24 municipalities.

MNCA | Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur

The Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur brings together 49 municipalities. It is the first metropolis founded in France. Its headquarters are in Nice.

Cannes Côte d'Azur

Sophia Antipolis

Sophia Antipolis is the first technopole in Europe. It brings together world leaders, researchers, SMEs and startups in an exceptional natural environment of 2400 hectares. The Sophia Antipolis Science Park is a place of innovation, which provides companies with cutting-edge technologies and expertise in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies, in particular the Internet of Things and the Connected Vehicle, Biotechnology and Earth and Energy Sciences.

The Alpes-Maritimes are a French department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

Région Sud Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur

The Provence-Alpes Côte d'Azur Region is a territorial authority. Its role is to render a public service by ensuring the general interest of the inhabitants, their well-being and equal opportunities.
Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is the third most populated region in France and contributes to France’s economic development, with more than 7% of the country’s wealth produced in the region.


ICAIR | Industrial Council of Artificial Intelligence Research

ICAIR was funded by some major local companies in 2019. This Council is designed so that researchers working in industrial contexts, although different, can discuss and exchange views on common issues related to the use of AI in their respective industries.
ICAIR members are companies with sites on the French Riviera (mainly Sophia Antipolis) hosting research laboratories or a significant number of researchers in artificial intelligence.


Cluster IA

ClusterIA is an association law 1901 that aims to bring together all the actors of AI: large groups, research centers and researchers, universities, institutions, SMEs & startups that invest in the development of an AI ecosystem, around the 3IA Côte d'Azur particularly.


Pôle SCS | Solutions Communicantes Sécurisées

SCS is a global competitiveness cluster dedicated to digital technologies. Created in 2005 in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, it brings together an ecosystem of nearly 300 industrial players, major groups, SMEs and startups, research laboratories and universities that work together to develop and market innovative products and services to generate growth and jobs in growth markets.



SAFE is the French competitiveness cluster positioned on the Aeronautics & Space, Safety & Security, Defence and Environment (risks & resilience) sectors. With its offices in the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, it manages a network of more than 400 actors (SMEs, midcaps, large groups, research and training centres, end-users) of which 60% are companies.
SAFE Cluster is one of the 3 hubs of the national aeronautics and space industry.


Eurobiomed is the South of France Competitiveness Cluster dedicated to Healthtech.
Created in 2009 by all players in the healthcare sector in the South Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur and Occitanie regions, Eurobiomed brings together an ecosystem of more than 400 industrial players, major groups, SMEs and startups, research laboratories and universities that work together to develop and market innovative products and services to generate growth and jobs in growth markets.



OPTITEC is a competitive cluster dedicated to innovative technologies that use light to generate, emit, detect, collect, transmit or amplify photon flows, from the terahertz band to X-rays, applied to 5 business areas in high-growth markets: security/defence & major scientific instruments, health and life sciences, industry of the future, smart city & mobility and digital agriculture.


Mines ParisTech

Since its creation in 1783, MINES ParisTech has been training very high-level engineers capable of solving complex problems in a wide variety of fields.

MINES ParisTech is the leading engineering school in France in terms of the volume of contract research. Its research fields range from energy to materials, including applied mathematics, geosciences and economic and social sciences. The engineering school is also developing teaching and research chairs on emerging themes.
