The 1st international conference on "Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematics for History and Archaeology" (IAMAHA) will be held in Nice on 27 and 28 November 2023.

Description

This colloquium, co-organised by CEPAM, Inria and the I3S laboratory, aims to take stock of research into the progress of quantitative and artificial intelligence methods in History and Archaeology. It is an interdisciplinary event aimed at researchers in these disciplines, bringing them together for the first time in an international dynamic.

This conference is particularly interested in the contributions of artificial intelligence and applied mathematics to History and Philology, the Arts and Archaeology of the Built Environment, the study of materials from the past (lithic, ceramic, organic, etc.) and the modelling of socio-environmental systems.
