Visions Of InteLligence Artificelle: AI seminars for all topics and all audiences.

The aim of these seminars is to provide scientific impetus to the large EFELIA Côte d'Azur community of lecturers, researchers, students and ecosystem partners through online seminar sessions, some of which are followed by round table discussions.

Through this medium, our intention is to provide food for thought or answers to the major questions facing society, and hence the university community, on topics such as AI & Education, AI & Health, AI & Creation, AI & Law, etc.

Deep Learning School

A one-week summer school organized in July every year since 2017 by Université Côte d'Azur.

This event is certified by the Interdisciplinary Institute of Artificial Intelligence (3IA Côte d'Azur). The Deep Learning School is designed for researchers, engineers, experts in "Deep Learning" or people eager to learn more about these crucial methods at the core of modern AI. The program includes lectures given by high-profile speakers, internationally renowned in the field and expert labs supervised by subject-matter experts.

DL4T Summer School

Legal experts take a closer look at artificial intelligence and the challenges it raises.

The Summer School is open to undergraduate and M1 students at the Faculty of Law and Political Science in Nice. The aim of the Deep Law for Tech (DL4T) project is to contribute to the knowledge, promotion and construction of legal standards governing the creation of technical standards. It is part of the Deep Tech movement. It provides a scientific and standard-setting response to the need for innovative legal frameworks required by emerging technological frameworks.

KID Summer School: Knowledge Dynamics, Industry Evolution, Economic Development

Theoretical and empirical lectures on knowledge dynamics, industry evolution, and economic development.

Following its 10-year tradition, the school aims at attracting students interested in studying a broad range of subjects such as the emergence and persistence of innovation, entrepreneurship, firms’ growth, corporate governance and performance, geographical agglomeration and dispersion of industrial activities, skills dynamics, the economics of science, smart cities, and environmental innovation. The school welcomes Ph.D. students, postdocs, and young researchers. Participants to the summer school will benefit from lectures by highly reputed international scholars. Lectures will cover theoretical and empirical subjects with particular emphasis on up-to-date statistical and econometric techniques.
