The 3IA Côte d’Azur is hiring a Data Scientist Engineer to join its 3IA Techpool.

The Data Scientist Engineers will carry out software development within the framework of research, innovation, and scientific culture dissemination projects requiring technologies and scientific results from research conducted under the 3IA Côte d'Azur initiative. They will work within a team of data scientists in a context where you can constantly develop your skills. They will also need to be capable of leading AI practice training sessions for business engineers, researchers, or students, up to 64 hours of teaching equivalent per year according to the Institute's needs.
 

Missions

An essential part of the development activities will be carried out within the framework of collaborations between the Institute and socio-economic stakeholders (startups, public institutions, local authorities). You will work on the co-development of prototype software integrating the technological building blocks proposed by researchers under a research contract. These developments aim to validate a scientific approach on one or more use cases submitted by a company. The developments may be part of a technology transfer agreement with the company. You may also be called upon for software development of technologies developed by the laboratories and research teams of the Institute's establishments. You will be asked to capitalize on the team's expertise in training content and deliver this content to audiences at engineer, researcher, or engineering school or Master's student level.
 

This position is for you if:

You master:
▸Machine learning environment practices (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, Numpy)
▸Programming languages Python, R, C, or C++
▸Technical and scientific English, both oral and written

You are capable of:
▸Developing client-server web interfaces
▸Demonstrating autonomy, adaptability, rigor, and organization

You possess:
▸Good writing skills
▸Training and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: Data science/Statistics/Software development, Artificial intelligence/Machine learning/Deep learning
▸Teaching or training experience
▸Development experience under Linux or MacOS
 

Your professional background

You hold a minimum Bachelor's degree + 5 years (Master's level).
You have experience in a similar position.
