Emilie Banks, AI diversity engineer, joined the University Côte d'Azur in January to contribute to the development of courses and training programs at EFELIA Côte d'Azur.

We asked Emilie to introduce herself:

Hello! My name is Emilie Banks, and I am looking forward to working as an AI diversity engineer on the EFELIA team at 3IA. I did my undergraduate studies in mathematics and French in California, and one year after making the move to France, I embarked on my master’s degree in Modeling for Neuronal and Cognitive Sciences (Mod4NeuCog) at the Université Côte d’Azur. During my time as a master’s student at UniCA, I had the opportunity to contribute to various research projects relating to cognitive and behavioral science as an intern, which sparked my interest in pursuing a career in this type of research after graduating. For the past year I have had the pleasure of working as a research engineer in social psychology on the Réalité Virtuelle pour l'Egalité de Genre dans l'Orientation (ReVEGO) project headed by Prof. Lucile Sassatelli at UniCA. I am eager to continue my career as a researcher at UniCA by collaborating with the other knowledgeable engineers on the EFELIA project and gaining new skills and perspectives along the way!

Welcome to the 3IA Côte d'Azur Institute!
