AI is disrupting our ways of life, our relationship with information, and our benchmarks for truth. How can we distinguish the real from the fabricated, the reliable from the manipulated? What are the risks of misinformation in the era of generative AI?

The Club de la Presse Méditerranée 06 and IMREDD invite you to an exceptional conference-debate on a topic at the heart of current events: the promises and pitfalls of artificial intelligence.

To provide scientific and nuanced insight into these questions, Serena VILLATA, Ph.D., HDR, Research Director at CNRS and Université Côte d'Azur, head of the Inria MARIANNE team "Natural Language Processing", and 3IA Deputy Scientific Director and Chairholder, will share her expertise on the ethical, technical, and societal issues related to artificial intelligence.

The event will be moderated by Bernard DELOUPY, journalist and author of the novel "Crim' à la mairie" (Éditions Gilletta), who will guide the debate and discussions with the audience.

A free event open to all those who wish to better understand the mechanisms of AI and the challenges of truth in the digital age.
