A mobility scholarship program in Artificial Intelligence
EFELIA-3IA Côte d'Azur is funding a mobility scholarship program in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The aim is to encourage the mobility of AI students with a view to acquiring and/or developing new skills. For the academic year 2024-2025, scholarships of up to €1,000 per person per year may be awarded to students with a project to acquire AI skills as part of a training course or work placement.

Eligibility criteria
These grants are open to all students registered in EFELIA x 3IA Côte d'Azur certified trainings wishing to undertake a period of mobility during their university course (travel and residence costs), regardless of nationality or age.
To be eligible, applicants must be accepted and enrolled in a:
- Licence 3: eligible in the context of a professional internship in AI in order to acquire and/or develop new skills. Students on sandwich courses are not eligible;
- Master 1 or 2: eligible as part of an IA training course or internship to acquire and/or develop new skills. Students on sandwich courses are not eligible;
- PhD level: eligible as part of a summer school to acquire new skills, meet and collaborate with peers, experts and professionals in their fields.
NB: Applications must be sent in advance of the mobility.

Periods for receipt of applications:
- 1st wave: from 9 September 2024 to 15 October 2024 at noon (Paris time)
- 2nd wave: from 7 January to 15 February 2025 at noon (Paris time)
- 3rd and final wave: from 5 May to 15 June 2025 at noon (Paris time)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Opinions supported by at least 2 teachers
- Detailed academic results, including at least the last year of study
- Cover letter describing the project carried out abroad and the Masters course chosen
- Work placement agreement
- Certificate of school attendance
- Copy of passport or identity card
- Any proof of financial difficulty (tax assessment, bank statement, social criteria grant, etc.)
- Any additional documents (optional): letters of recommendation, etc.
Selection process
Completed applications received by the deadline will be examined by the EFELIA-3IA Côte d'Azur project team.
After deliberation, the scholarship will be awarded. The grant will be awarded on the basis of the academic excellence of the application, the quality of the project and/or the financial difficulties of the applicant.
The grant, worth a maximum of €1,000 per person per year, may be withdrawn in the event of failure to comply with the internal rules of the corresponding institution and/or in the event of non-attendance.
Important notes
- In case of cancellation of enrolment, withdrawal from the course or repeated and unjustified absences, the amount of the grant paid must be returned.
- This scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships: IDEX excellence, IDEX mobilité, EIFFEL scholarship, DS4H wings, Région Sud, etc.
- The scholarship will be awarded as follows: a first part corresponding to half of the scholarship will be awarded at the beginning of the 1st semester, once the student has enrolled. The second part will be paid at the beginning of the 2nd semester, subject to the student's regular attendance at the course.
- The scholarship will be awarded for the current year but will not be automatically renewed. Students will have to reapply and will continue to be subject to the same merit criteria.
