Organized by the French Federation of Human Genetics and the Genetics team of Nice University Hospital, the event took place at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, from January 27 to 30, 2026.

This event is the largest gathering of French-speaking geneticists, bringing together more than 2,000 genetics professionals, physicians, and researchers from around the world to share insights on recent advances and major issues in the field of human and medical genetics. It is an essential forum for sharing and discussing the most innovative discoveries in genomics, precision medicine, and medical genetics. With more than 900 abstracts received, this edition proves to be particularly promising.

This meeting also aims to debate issues that often extend beyond the scope of genetics: data use, bioethics, personalized medicine with access to new treatments, etc.

On this occasion, Nicholas Ayache, 3IA Chairholder, presented a lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twin for the Medicine of the Future” in the frame of a session about artificial intelligence moderated by Charles Van Goethem.
