Perceptron Orchestra - Call for entries

What if a human community tried to behave like a neural network ? What if the game became learning to sing a song, what would the music of our network be ? Whether you like to sing in the shower or not at all, come along and take part in the experiment on May 28, 29 or 30, 2024 by recording a few seconds of your voice. Zoé Aegerter and her team welcome you in their recording studio, set up at INRIA for the occasion. All voices and performances are welcome, whether you're singing right or wrong!

Perceptron Orchestra is a creative process imagined from the operating model of a neural network by designer and artist Zoé Aegerter, winner of the "Creation & Artificial Intelligence" residency at the 3IA Côte d'Azur institute.

Your participation will help create a unique sound piece, at the crossroads of AI research and sound creation.

Recordings will take place at INRIA (Kahn and Cauchy buildings), in 20-minute slots (maximum duration required per participant). You will be welcomed and accompanied by the artist and her team. A video recording will also be made, according to the individual consent of each participant, in order to produce the video clip of the sound piece.
