Hello! My name is Chandan Atreya. I am originally from India, and I have been working at the interface of technology, research, and international cooperation for over 15 years. After completing my studies in chemistry, I began my career in industrial R&D, working with organizations such as GE Healthcare and ThermoFisher Scientific, where I contributed to patents and award-winning innovations in life sciences.
I then transitioned into science diplomacy, first as Scientific Coordinator at the French Embassy in India, supporting France-India research partnerships, and later as Senior Advisor for Science & Innovation at the Australian High Commission in India, where I managed bilateral R&D cooperation across AI, cybersecurity, green energy, and quantum technologies for over five years.
Following this, I joined Université Côte d'Azur, initially contributing to the Ulysseus European University Alliance and the university's international and European development department. Today, it is with great enthusiasm that I work alongside the AI Cluster 3IA Côte d'Azur team — bringing an international perspective to cutting-edge research and innovation!
