On June 18, Maxime Sermesant, 3IA Côte d'Azur Chairholder, co-organized a cardiac imaging and rhythmology workshop with Gabriel Latcu, Head of Rhythmology Department at Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace.

The scientific event took place at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grasse as the closing event of the European inEurHeart EIT Health project, in the presence of Jérôme Fabiano, Deputy Director of EIT Health, and Malik Albert, Deputy Director of CHPG.

Led by the startup inHEART and coordinated by the Centre Inria d'Université Côte d'Azur, the European project inEurHeart aims to transform catheter ablation of ventricular tachycardia. It is based on a personalized approach, validated by a European clinical trial involving 119 patients and 14 clinical centers in Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland.

This meeting brought together computational scientists, mathematicians, health economics researchers, radiologists, and cardiologists from Centre Cardio-Thoracique de Monaco, Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grasse, CHU de Bordeaux, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, IHU LIRYC - Heart rhythm disease Institute, and Inria.

Key presentation topics:
▸ Arrhythmia and imaging
▸ Digital twin and AI for arrhythmias
