On December 7, the Plaza Anantara hotel in Nice hosted the closing conference of the "IA DATES", a series of conferences on Artificial Intelligence organised by the Institut EuropIA to give citizens a better understanding of Artificial Intelligence.

What ambition for Artificial Intelligence in France and Europe?

Université Côte d'Azur was represented by Diana Sebbar, who was invited in her position as Executive Director of the 3IA Côte d'Azur to take part in the round table discussion "What ambition in France and Europe for AI?" alongside a prestigious guest, the famous mathematician and former Member of Parliament Cédric Villani (Fields Medal winner, who was behind the "Villani" report that recommended the creation of the 3IAs).

The round table provided an opportunity to reiterate the role of the Université Côte d'Azur and its partners in AI research and training, which are fundamental prerequisites for innovation, itself the basis of national and European competitiveness and sovereignty in AI.
